I take delight in welcoming you to Elim Park, a truly unique Continuing Care Retirement Community. Elim Park is located in the historic town of Cheshire, Connecticut. Elim Park is an interdenominational, nationally-accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community. Nestled on thirty eight beautifully landscaped acres, in the shadow of Sleeping Giant Mountain, and tucked behind Cheshire’s residential neighborhoods, we offer the quiet of small town living with easy access to the larger cities of Hartford, New Haven, Boston and New York.

Since our founding in 1906 by the Swedish Baptist Conference, Elim Park Place has been steadfastly guided by our mission to provide an unsurpassed retirement lifestyle for those seeking an active lifestyle accompanied by comfort, security and peace-of-mind within a faith-based community. Our 100 years of experience and expertise serve as a foundation upon which we are building an exciting and strong future. Since joining Elim Park Place in 1978, I have been blessed to work alongside a top-notch, on-site management team, dedicated staff, and an involved board of directors. These talented individuals have brought a wealth of insight and skills to their respective roles. A strategic master plan, designed to guide the growth of Elim Park Place, has resulted in the building of several beautiful new neighborhoods. Ongoing strategic planning will continue to guide our growth in a thoughtful and prudent manner.

Our 38-acre campus is currently home to six beautiful New England independent living neighborhoods with a variety of one and two bedroom apartment floor plans. We recently unveiled plans for our proposed seventh neighborhood, called Riverbend, which will boast forty brand new apartment homes in a peaceful riverside setting. The constellation of services at Elim Park means peace of mind for you and your family. In addition to our independent apartments, residents receive priority access to our onsite five-star healthcare center for rehabilitation, residential care, or skilled nursing, should you ever need it. Elim Park Place residents also have the option of on-site assisted living services in the comfort of their own homes.
