Nestled on 41 acres in beautiful Cheshire, Elim Park includes seven Independent Living neighborhoods, an acclaimed Nelson Hall Theatre, a spacious Fitness & Wellness Center, and three unique restaurants. Also on our campus is the Elim Park Health Care Center offering post-acute in-patient and outpatient rehabilitation, a Long-Term Care residence, and a licensed Residential Care Home.

At Elim Park, we’ve certainly grown over the years but have never lost our small family feel. Elim is not simply a name. It is a calling. In 1906, Swedish immigrants who founded churches and Sunday schools also yearned for a place of rest – a summer vacation spot. This place of rest began as a 12-room farmhouse in Shelton, CT, with one bathroom on an 80-acre farm amidst chestnut trees and a well by a flowing river that eventually became a “Home for the Aged.”
From these humble beginnings, a new Elim Park was built in Cheshire in 1958 and has grown into something that these founders never in their wildest dreams could have imagined. Proud of the unmatched services and amenities we provide to today’s seniors – our mission and purpose remain steadfastly the same – to Honor God in all we do.
To this goal, we provide on-campus ministry and prayer available to all residents and staff:
