Wellness Is More Than Exercise
When people think about wellness, they often focus on physical health. But at Elim Park, wellness means much more than exercise alone.
Resident Clay Norman believes true wellness involves caring for the whole person: body, soul, and spirit.
“I believe we’re all made up of body, soul, and spirit,” Clay explains. “The Wellness Center helps us take care of our physical health, while the community and spiritual opportunities here help nourish the rest.”
Staying Active in the Wellness Center
For Clay, staying active is a daily priority. He enjoys walking on the treadmill, often listening to books while exercising. The Wellness Center provides residents with opportunities to stay strong, improve mobility, and maintain independence through regular fitness activities.
A Community That Supports the Whole Person
But wellness at Elim Park extends far beyond the gym. Residents can participate in educational programs, social gatherings, volunteer opportunities, spiritual enrichment, and countless recreational activities that support emotional and mental well-being.
The result is a vibrant community where residents are encouraged to live life to the fullest while building meaningful relationships and maintaining healthy lifestyles.
A Lifestyle Full of Possibility
As Clay puts it, “The problem isn’t finding something to do. The problem is there’s so much to do that you can’t do it all.”
At Elim Park, wellness isn’t just a program; it’s a way of life.
