Nelson Hall Theatre

Nelson Hall is a beautiful 315-seat concert hall on the Elim Park campus made possible by a generous bequest from Hilmer and Ethel Nelson in 2008. 

Since its opening, Nelson Hall has provided a venue where both Elim Park residents and the general public can celebrate and experience the very best in the performing arts.

Numerous studies have suggested that engaging in more mentally stimulating activities throughout life is associated with better cognitive function and reduced cognitive decline.  

Nelson Hall Theatre addresses this by providing a place where both Elim Park residents and the local community can enjoy a variety of cultural experiences that promote fellowship and social interaction.                           

Charitable gifts and corporate sponsorships received throughout the year allow Elim Park to maintain its commitment to excellence while keeping the Nelson Hall Theatre experience affordable for those who attend.

Nelson Hall achieved new milestones with sold-out crowds in 2024 and 2025. In 2026, generous contributions are making it possible to build an impressive new stage, upgrade sound and lighting systems, remodel the backstage area, and more.
